Digital Learning Academy (DLA) is the Workforce Development division of the YWCA Greater Los Angeles. We are a Social Enterprise seeking to close the workforce technologies skills gap by providing job skills training and complementary programs to disconnected youth and adults who have barriers to employment. The Digital Learning Academy offers training in Graphics for Print and Soft Skills, as well as Transitional Employment and placement support. We have an on-site, professional digital print center where students experience hands-on training. DLA partners with local agencies, schools, small businesses, local print companies, and tech firms who provide a variety of additional resources for our students. These valuable resources come in the form of: Mentoring & Goal Setting, Job Search Skills, Financial Literacy Training, Case Management and Work-Readiness Workshops. DLA also manages the LA:Rise Transitional Employment program which hires people for 300-hr temporary employment. Show less
