Focusing on local artists and community-based events

Amsterdam based political scientist, currently working with DOOR Foundation (as a producer and aspiring curator) and freelance writer for multidisciplinary platforms - at the same time expanding my research on art-led activism, with a focus on sonic activism and political-speculative art practices.

Decolonizing Southeast Asian Sound Archives (DeCoSEAS) is a three-year research and community engagement project funded by the Joint Programming Initiative (JPI) on Cultural Heritage and Global Change supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.DeCoSEAS proposes the decolonization of heritage curation with three formative orientation points: the improvement of access to heritage, the transfer of agency to stakeholders of their heritage, and the diversification of the dialogue about this heritage’s curation. For this aim, researchers based in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France work together with academics, curators and NGOs in Southeast Asia in opening up three unique sound collections, all located in Europe and barely accessible to researchers and cultural originators.DeCoSEAS develops four initiatives in a variety of academic, curatorial and public spaces for disclosing the collections: Digitization of material, Visiting Fellowships providing access to the material on site, Publications and Outreach Projects.

As what they called a "karma yogi" I volunteer to help organize the studio and help guests with whatever they need. As a host I help keeping the studio neat and clean, preserving the ambient necessary for a great experience for all guests.

As a host at the Conscious Club, I volunteer to be there once a week and help provide the full experience the club aims to provide. The vision of the space is to vision is to raise spiritual and environmental consciousness and create space for individual and collective transformation. There, I welcome all the guests, check them in, help them with whatever they need, make coffee, vegan capuccinos, lattes and also help preserve the energy for the space.

-Providing student leadership;-Assisting at college events and community functions; -Giving campus tours for prospective students and potential donors; -Serving as guides for special guests of the College; -Promoting college success, campus involvement, and academic excellence.

- Working on expanding student involvement in the project;- Promoting the project on multiple social medial outlets (creating Instagram videos and photo content, updating the website, creating content for the Facebook page);- Researching opportunities to connect with possible interns in local colleges;- Researching potential donors in the Los Angeles area;- Helping promote the annual "Walk for Water" event.
