In the flipped-classroom environment of the Engineering Fundamentals program, this included answering individual questions on course content, reviewing student learning and progress in class, and providing individual and group project support as a classroom SME. Additional to the in-class and grading responsibilities, as a LEAP Leader I was in charge of development, facilitation, and assessment of a weekly 1-hour class session for my student section. These sessions included tailored review periods for material my students struggled with, as well as teaching new engineering fundamentals content. Development plans were discussed and reviewed with the course instructor, but were ultimately led by individual LEAP Leaders.Completed 5 semesters as a LEAP Leader (including a joint semester as Leader and Admin during Fall 2019 semester) and received stellar course evaluations from student and instructional feedback.
