I currently serve in a dual role as the Director of Development and Communications for Philadelphia nonprofit, ASAP/After School Activities Partnerships. ASAP works to keep youth from high need areas safe through enriching after-school programs, during what police and state officials have deemed the most dangerous hours for young people-- 3PM-6PM. ASAP's primary focus is to (1) assist with neighborhood public schools with the greatest needs; and (2) areas most impacted by the gun violence epidemic.I am a dedicated and self-motivated nonprofit leader with nearly a decade of experience in development and fundraising, as well as communications and marketing for both small and mid-size organizations. I have proven success in identifying new and maintaining existing donor revenue streams, including foundations, government entities, corporations, and individuals. I am highly skilled in engaging a wide variety of donors and stakeholders through preferred methods of communication, storytelling in annual appeal campaigns, grant writing, social media, and marketing collateral. I am knowledgeable of both philanthropic community in Philadelphia/tri-state area, as well as national philanthropic institutions. I am a James Madison University graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Communications (May 2015). I am committed to service, communicating with others, and youth development. I am an enthusiastic writer and believe in the chain reaction of kindness.
