Currently, I’m the Creative Director at Moncur, a Detroit-based branding agency where I lead multidisciplinary teams in crafting strategic and visually compelling branding, marketing, and digital solutions.Originally from Los Angeles, I’ve spent most of my life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and now call Portland, Oregon home. I earned my BFA in Digital Design and Printmaking with a minor in K-12 Education from Evergreen State College, and my career has been a journey of purposeful growth and creative exploration ever since.I’ve had the privilege of leading creative projects for a range of B2B and B2C brands, including Verdantas, Siemens, Nuance, FastGrid, and ZoomCare. This small institution afforded me the opportunity to create unique, interactive experiences for the students, including a 6-month project to build a print studio at the school. I worked with students ranging in age from 13-19, and learned a lot and developed better teamwork, communication and leadership skills during this time. I enjoyed teaching immensely, but my goal was to transition into digital marketing design and was simultaneously pursuing advanced study. Upon completion, in February, 2011, I accepted a position in the marketing department at Axium. The following month I said goodbye to my students and relocated to Portland. I experienced tremendous personal and professional growth while at WellSpring and was able to easily transition into a new phase of my career an improved communicator, collaborator, critical thinker, problem solver and leader. It's been years since I've taught a class, but I'm grateful for the experience and education provided to me, and I continue to stay in touch with many of my former students to this day.

Visual Communications & Digital Marketing DesignerFreelance Feb 2005 - Jan 2011As I developed my freelance digital marketing design practice, I had the good fortune to work with a wide variety of clients, from small to enterprise B2B and B2C organizations. I was responsible for onboarding new clients, project management, and establishing project goals, OKRs, budgets and schedules with my clients. From there, I'd work solo, or in conjunction with my client's marketing and design teams to develop custom digital marketing design solutions. These solutions included branding and identity development, print, packaging and display design and production, content strategy and development, UI/UX design, front-end development and QA, ABM campaign development, paid advertising coordination, event, webinar and video marketing development, email marketing campaign efforts, and social media outreach. Each solution was specifically developed to achieve my client's goals and OKRs within the established brand parameters, timeframe and budget.
