Experienced and qualified Molecular Biologist with a demonstrated history of working in the pharma industry with a background in research, quality control, and molecular diagnostics. Currently, I am looking for a job opportunity in a challenging and international environment in the field of medical science, research, and innovation. During my career, I have learned the value of working in an organized and interdisciplinary environment following GLP and GMP normative. Supervisors and co-workers relied on me and appreciated my initiative and enthusiasm toward training new team members in analytical techniques and safety procedures. My educational training has enabled me to learn relevant experimental skills in projects focused on:1.- Glycobiology to develop new therapies to reduce the level of sialylation and attenuate pancreatic cancer cells,2.- How alterations in cardiac channels can lead to cardiopathies and sudden death, by analyzing if there is an interaction (in vivo) between subunit α, Nav1.5, and its accessory subunit β2. Those projects required a high ability to learn and work independently and in groups. Keywords: glycobiology; cancer therapies; sialylation inhibitors; histology cardiac arrhythmias; protein trafficking, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, cloning, confocal imagingI am actively seeking an opportunity to use my skills and strengthen my expertise in supporting research projects focused on developing novel therapies.
