Going into college as a Freshman at North Carolina State University (NCSU), I decided to major in Biology to later go to a professional school. I slowly realized that was not what I wanted for my future and found success at the second half of my Junior year in Brand Management and Marketing at the College of Textiles at NCSU. Though the switch caused me to post-pone my graduation date, it was definitely the right decision.Currently, I am an assistant to a local wedding planner in the Raleigh area, Sweet Sarabell. Though I have only been with the company for four months, I feel that I have learned so much about the event planning industry and am eager to continue gaining more knowledge in the wedding planning field. I attend at least two weddings a month and help with setting up and decorating the ceremony and reception space(s).With the help of graduating from NCSU and gaining experience as an assistant for Sweet Sarabell, I hope to one day become a wedding planner and have my own business.
