Victoria Lamar is a visionary and storyteller dedicated to helping students secure scholarships for college and assisting businesses in obtaining grants to fuel their projects and initiatives. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Victoria's journey began at Westlake High School in South Fulton, where she excelled as a student-athlete in varsity track and field while also leading various student organizations, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes.Victoria's scholarship journey took a remarkable turn when she amassed over $3 million in scholarships for her higher education. Fueled by her own success and the desire to make a difference, she founded Securing Degrees, LLC in 2018. Through this venture, she has guided over 4,000 students in finding and winning scholarships, resulting in an impressive $20 million in scholarships accumulated by her students.Her commitment to educational excellence extends beyond her company. Victoria has forged partnerships with more than 20 schools, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions, including the prestigious San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). Her impact and expertise have garnered attention from various publications and news outlets, including FOX 5 Atlanta, FOX 2 KTVU, and Gwinnett Daily Post.In addition to her work in education, Victoria boasts a diverse background in consulting, supply chain management, and human resources. She recently graduated from Georgia State University in Spring 2022, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business - Managerial Sciences.
