Victoria Lambert has been a journalist for more than 30 years. She has written and edited for the Telegraph, the Times, the Sunday Times, the Guardian, the Mail and the Mail on Sunday. She contributes to magazines including School House, Good Housekeeping and Grazia. She is joint author of Boundaries: How to Draw the Line in the Head, Heart, and Home (HarperCollins, 2018).Currently Deputy Head of Live Features at the Daily Telegraph, her previous positions include Health Editor at the Daily Mail and Health Editor of the Daily Telegraph in London; and Foreign Editor of the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, Australia.Victoria graduated from London University with a degree in English Literature in 1987 and has worked for most national newspapers and many magazines. She has appeared on Channel 4, BBC Breakfast and This Morning, and on Radio 4 and local radio stations.She has lectured students, fellow journalists and the public on newspapers - for example, at the International Symposium on Women's Health at UCL in November 2009. She was awarded EU Cancer Reporter of the Year 2011 jointly with Mark Henderson, science editor of The Times and was the HFMA’s Health Journalist of the Year Award for 2010, and awarded the International Ferring Infertility Media Award. She has been runner up in awards established by the Medical Journalist Association and the Guild of Health Writers.Victoria is a member of Women in Journalism (WiJ) and the Medical Journalists Association (MJA). She was chair of the MJA 2012-14.Pro bono work: From April 2010 to Jan 2015, Victoria was Media Ambassador to Prostate Cancer UK working on media strategy and press relations.
