As a college graduate at the end of the Great Recession, it was safe to say I didn't know my next step. My father encouraged me to try sales because in his words, "If you can do sales, you can do anything." And sell I did. While developing and managing other sales representatives, I exceeded $7M. After a decade+ in F&B sales, I took some time to consider my next move. I accepted a role as a Data Analyst — learning facets of Python to streamline Meta's accounting processes. After nearly 12 years, I learned an entirely new skillset in a remote setting — a reminder that there is nothing I cannot do.At this time, I also pursued a lifelong passion: writing. I learned how to craft a pitch and the 3rd email I sent, I got a reply. My first article was published by Marie Claire and I was later interviewed by The Washington Post. This passion led me to a leading PR agency where I worked with clients in AI, B2B, fintech, and regulatory and compliance.
