For my master’s thesis, I conducted a research fellowship on alternative catalysts for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). This involved:- Synthesizing and characterizing a PtRuNi catalyst via combustion- Assessing how catalyst powder characteristics affect fuel cell performance- Learning and using techniques like X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
