Profile bio

About Victoria Looseleaf

As a freelance arts journalist/consultant and traveler of the world, I have written thousands of articles about people in the arts, conducted as many interviews of noteworthy people and have even had time to write on my own blog, The Looseleaf Report. As a consultant, I facilitate relationships in the arts, including the visual arts, the performing arts and film. In addition, I produced and hosted a series of Gertrude Stein-like salons, Salon 3.0., at an architecturally spectacular home in Venice, CA, where artists and arts aficionados came together to present their work and meet like-minded people. I curated the presenters as well as the guest list. I recently edited a book, "In Loving Hands: How the Rights For Young Children Living In Children's Homes Offer Hope and Happiness in Today's World," based on the philosophy and practices of the late Dr. Emmi Pikler.I also co-founded the online art magazine ArtNowLA with Larry Gilbert. ArtNowLA covers the city for the latest in cool. Go behind the fine arts' scene & get woke w/painters, sculptors, shooters, mixed media artists & more.https://artnowla.com/My latest book is "Russ & Iggy's Art Alphabet," with JT Steiny, and it's the totally true and awesome story of Russ Butler and his Jack Russell terrier, Iggy, as they travel through the alphabet creating - and recreating - original and iconic works of art.

Listed skills include Performing Arts, Theatre, Music, Festivals, and 44 others.
