NC State University Human Resources provides services to employees subject to the NC Human Resources Act (”SHRA” employees) as well as faculty, administrators and professionals exempt from the NC Human Resources Act (“EHRA” employees), temporary employees, and student employees. As a Human Resources Specialist I am the friendly face and voice of HR, handling inquiries through phone, email, walk-ins, and ServiceNow. I also engage with all facets of HR, from Benefits to Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Information Management & Analytics, Employee Relations, Classification and Compensation, and Learning & Organizational Development. Furthermore, I assist in tackling a spectrum of question, from routine to complex, providing solutions and guidance all while completing I-9 processing, education verification, and background checks.
