I am a New York state licensed clinical psychologist working as a clinician and as the Director of Child and Adolescent Services at the American Institute of Cognitive Therapy. I specialize in treating patients suffering from mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, impulse-related difficulties personality disorders, substance abuse, and various childhood disorders including ADHD. I work with children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based treatments including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and parent training. My foremost expertise is in adolescent DBT; in addition to treating high-risk teenagers individually and in group settings, I train other professionals in the theory and implementation of providing DBT to adolescents.
