Working independently as a Tax Accountant assistant for Max in Tax.

Working as a tax accountant in a public practice based in Gold Coast, my responsibilities include but are not limited to:Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and entities such as trusts, companies, partnerships, corporate trustees and sole traders.Liaise with the ATO, head office and clients.Comply with TBH Policy and legislative requirements in relation to record keeping.Provide tax information to clients/potential clients in person and on phone. Assist clients with tax problems and handle client’s queries and complaints.Preparation and delivery of Financial Statements & Compliance documents for specified clients.Support and guidance to franchise owners on an ad-hoc basis.

 Credit card and Bank reconciliation on a monthly basis including preparation of approval sheet, matching invoices with statement, and filing away with reconciliation report. Assisting in Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation including the calculation of GST, PAYG and FBT. Updating Fixed Assets Register (FAR) and posting Depreciation journal including calculating depreciation, mapping depreciation accounts with journal, posting general journal to MYOB and checking if MYOB balance matches Excel.  Assisting in Payroll processing including precise calculations for pay, superannuation and leave entitlement complied with payslips, taxation and group certificates.  Managing Cost Centre Analysis and examining different expenditure of 5 branches by using graphs and table, Excel formulas and pivot tables. Processing full function of Account Receivable and Payable invoices in Xero. Processing Inventory and year-end Stock Take for several retail clients including processing stock purchase and stock sales as well as posting stock adjustment journals.

Conducting public surveys, analysing relevant data and interacting effectively with potential consumers.

Employed as a GSA/Concierge/Administrator for a well-known and prestigious hotel in Surfers Paradise and Queenstown NZ. My duties include: helping guests with check in and check out procedures, hotel inquiries, selling and organizing events, booking tours and other activities of interest in Gold Coast.

Employed in the role of Graduate Accountant, reporting to the Tax Manager.
