Getting a Chemical Engineering degree in 1980, I started working at Iquitos Oil Refinery in 1982 as a Process Engineer. I´ve got a MBA degree at Esan in 1990. and started at kuresa S.A. in 1992, working in different positions from Production Manager up to Project and Technical Manager.Visited many factories around the world and recieved training related to adhesive tapes and autoadhesive labels in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Holland, Taiwan and China, more than 20 times. As a production manager I created, developed and was mantaining a label-costing-system that ended up in the enterprise’s current system for quoting. “Out of pocket” concept was introduced to me by an European specialist and included in the system as a key element to offer competitive prices to the market, when necessary.In 2009 and 2010, I was one of the members of a multinational team that were involved for designing from scratch, a new site to Kuresa. In 2011 as a Project Manager of a peruvian team, my job was to build the new site, including facilities and services. Leader of the starting up of a new "adhesive coater" and moving of the old machinery from the former site to the new one. In this project we managed assets of around 30 millions of US$.Lately and by me own, after getting new competences in design thinking, service design, lean startup, agile methods, bussiness models and startups valuation in early stages, I'm evaluating some of them and offer mentoring to some entrepreneurs.
