As Director of Product Management and Client Services, Victor built and led a multi-disciplinary team responsible for extending Smartleaf’s capabilities and enabling its clients to grow their businesses, extend and articulate their value propositions, and build efficiency with highly customized, tax-efficient UMA/H investment portfolios and scalable daily workflows.Victor’s direct responsibilities included all aspects of product roadmapping, specification, go to market, and design, relationship management of Smartleaf’s largest client institutions in the bank trust, RIA, and broker dealer space, as well as oversight of the development and ongoing operation of Smartleaf’s integrations with Apex Clearing and AdvisorEngine.During his time in this role, Victor redesigned and managed the onboarding and implementation process, extending it farther left into the bottom of the sales funnel. Within both traditional and digital advisory settings—including fully-automated, direct to consumer, robo advice platforms—the new process served to ensure higher satisfaction and better outcomes for Smartleaf, advisors, and their clients.

His work supported successful campaigns with clients across a range of industries from large defense contractors to consumer goods brands.

CLRP was the State of New York’s local technical assistance program for highway departments and urban planners. During his time there, Victor worked as a technical writer and graphic designer across a variety of digital and traditional mediums. He developed hardware and software user and installation guides for a prototype pavement testing system, as well as several course manuals, presentations, and technical reports to support CLRP’s educational initiatives in local municipalities across the state.
