Current- Responsible for the development of the 26 Android apps used by 26 local TV stations across the US. The project was originally a legacy monolith written in Java, and I've led the effort of translating the entire codebase to Kotlin, as well as refactoring it to use MVVM with Clean Architecture. Now it's a stable, well architected, multi-modular app, with a very modern technology stack.- Developed apps for TV platforms such as AndroidTV and FireTV, for delivering Over-The-Top content including VOD and live news.- Built fully automated CI/CD pipelines on Bitrise for linting, testing, building and distributing all of the apps.- Led the effort of interviewing, selecting, onboarding and training all of the Android team members as the senior-most Android developer.- Developed a news and weather chat bot for the Facebook Messenger platform using DialogFlow as a Natural Language Processor. This was a winning Hackathon project which later became a product.- Worked on integrations with several different Ads and Analytics SDKs over the years, such as Google IMA, Nativo, FreeWheel, Google/Firebase Analytics, Conviva, Youbora, AppsFlyer and many others.
