About Victor Saad

I'm an Egyptian American educator, author, and community builder. In 2012, I designed my own Masters by completing 12 projects in 12 months and called it The Leap Year Project. My experiences culminated with staging my graduation at a local TEDx and publishing a book of community stories focused on the power of learning through risk. Following that year, a group of talented educators and leaders worked together to launch Experience Institute, an organization helping college students and career professionals learn and grow through immersive projects and experiences. In 2015, I was inducted into Forbes 30 Under 30 in the field of education. And in 2017, I joined the team at Stanford's School of Engineering as a Lecturer in Design, helping students reimagine their learning through experience.Today, I’m the Chairman of the Board at Ei, and Chief Talent Officer at NextGen Growth Partners — helping founders preserve their legacy and grow their companies by partnering with our Entrepreneurs in Residence.

    We were a small collective of friends who believed relationships are the most powerful means for change. Our first initiative was hosting a series of underground art shows for up-and-coming artists in un-used urban spaces — then we split all art sales between the artist and a featured non-profits. We continued this work for a few years — partnering with incredible artists, organizations, and venues. We're all still friends today.
