SGInnovate is focused on enabling entrepreneurs in Singapore to build start-ups with a strong emphasis on science and deep technology. Infocomm Investments is the strategic venture arm of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA Singapore), the Singapore Government's technology agency. We are actively supporting the growth of Singapore’s tech startup ecosystem, through strategic international partnerships and collaboration with local and global technology startups. Key Roles:> Investing in US technology startups that have global aspirations> Advising US tech startups on Asian growth and expansion> Consulting Singapore tech startups on US market entry

Market and promote the Infocomm Singapore brand and enhancing the reputation of the Singapore ICT industry and companies, through participation in key technology events, conferences or exhibitions with Singapore companies, and implementing in-country publicity campaign.Engagement of North American technology start-ups and MNCs to explore opportunities and strategic investments in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific and promoting Singapore as a R&D/ Engineering centre and Asia-Pacific HQFacilitation for access and to increase exports for Singapore-based companies into North America, including:> providing market intelligence and insights on country developments;> identifying business opportunities and qualifying leads for companies;> developing partnership networks;> providing advice and assistance to companies that want to establish a presence or do more in the North American region. Cultivate and deepen relationsips with key organisations, such as government agencies, officials, business leaders and trade associations to enhance market development efforts.

- Identify and engage international MNCs and start-up companies who are looking to be a part of the Asian gaming, social media and digital commerce landscape- Engage social media-related businesses with bases in Singapore; formulate and implement mutually-beneficial initiatives for the businesses and Singapore- Build and maintain strong alliances and network of strategic relationships with key infocomm local enterprises, as well as industry associations and government agencies - Develop and grow new and existing relationships in the games, social media and digital commerce industries within key regional markets- Develop strategic plans, design programme concepts and programmes to grow the gaming industry ecosystem in Singapore- Collaborate and partner with local industry and government agencies to nurture business and technology innovation and infocomm capabilities- IStart: Developed in-market accelerator programmes for SEA countries, to enable startups in Singapore to explore market entry suitability and engage with potential partners in each country. Initial focus on Indonesia and Vietnam.

- Developed and executed key digital media initiatives in consultation with key stakeholders for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore- As Social Media Lead conceptualised, executed and managed overall social media strategy and community engagement plan for pre-games and games-time requirements- Project-managed the Singapore 2010 Odyssey Virtual World development with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore- Assisted in oversight and management of creative content development team to develop all content and media production- Provided consultation and worked with promotional and outreach teams to engage audiences online and offline- Management of new media team’s games time operations and contingency plans

- Co-founded a brand and event management company focused on Western China- Developed and executed on growth strategy and business development leads- Sourced and managed multi-million dollar partnership deals- Managed early stage growth of company: hiring, working with local authorities and covering operational needs.
