Lead all the mobile efforts for Google Cloud Console - https://console.cloud.google.com/. This ranges from ensuring that the web site is accessible and usable across all screen sizes and devices and also our mobile scenario focused native applications on iOS and Android.

Joined Microsoft Artificial Intelligence & Research: Healthcare NExT initiative to deliver new experiences focused on improving patient outcomes.Led the Partner Integration and Experiences team focusing on delivering E2E solutions around remote monitoring and other solutions requested from partners. We built from scratch a new remote monitoring framework where providers can create care plans that will automatically complete tasks based on ingested health data through our data ingestion pipeline (devices, HealthKit, Google Fit, Valedic). This also included building out reference apps and SDKs on web, iOS, and Android.Led the re-admissions reductions team focusing on delivering E2E solutions around reducing re-admissions to hospitals. We researched and built out solutions with partners leveraging conversational bots to collect and triage health information along with researching different mediums to engage different populations (chronically ill, elderly, non-tech).

Led the Microsoft Health web experiences team. Microsoft Health is a joint venture with the Microsoft Band product and HealthVault to create a new health platform that focused on collecting high fidelity fitness (Heart Rate, GPS, Accelerometer) information from our new Microsoft Band fitness device.Built out the Microsoft Health web dashboard which presented rich experiences for managing your fitness data powered by ASP.NET, TypeScript, AngularJS, and D3. We created innovative experiences presenting trends and anomalies around sleep data and observations on your fitness data (average pace, fastest mile, longest run, best calories per min).Built out a new custom workout experience which allowed users to create their own variety of rich workouts. This allowed users to pull from a library of detailed exercises and videos and create workouts that could be interval, circuits, sets, repetitions. These workouts would then be synced to the fitness device where they can be tracked real time with Heart Rate and GPS.We pivoted away from fitness and then switched to a more clinical and corporate wellness space where we built out corporate wellness solutions around sleep and activity tracking. Leveraging the Microsoft Band (or other devices that track fitness and sleep), we created custom care plans that were dynamically generated based on your current wellness score (pulled from HealthVault) and then auto scaled the progress of your plan.

Rejoined HealthVault to lead the HealthVault User Experiences team which pivoted from a pure platform focus to providing first party experiences to drive user engagement and drive users to the HealthVault ecosystem.Built out the mobile experience for HealthVault.com and modernizing HealthVault.com to switch over to ASP.NET MVC and jQuery mobile. Then we extended out the experiences to cover a few in depth user scenarios around emergency preparedness (scan a barcode / QR code for instant access to your health information), weight management / nutrition tracking (sync fitbit and food entries), and an Application and Device directory to easily connect users to 3rd party devices and solutions.Opened up HealthVault to the world (Global Availability), which handled the security and compliance for all the data sovereignty rules which required us to manage multiple data centers and keep them secure and separate so that EU health data did not cross into the US. This also included localizing HealthVault into 16 languages, managing accessibility and localization, and also globalization (numbers, names, dates, addresses).Last phase was to build out first party client applications which included new experiences on Windows Phone (SilverLight), iOS , and Windows 8 (WinJS). This later would evolve into a full cross platform play leveraging Xamarin.

Built HealthVault.com - a web based PHR (Personal Health Record) that handled viewing and creating of personal health information, the sharing of health information to other parties, and the authorization of applications accessing the HealthVault platform.Built HealthVault Search, later branded as Live Search Health (the precursor to Bing) which was a health search vertical allowing users to do focused searches on medical topics to see relevant medical terms, categories, and related topics. Health articles and education were curated from multiple sources and presented to the user along with direct links back into HealthVault for the storing of information.Built Mayo Clinic Health Manager which is a PHR application that served medical recommendations provided by the doctors at Mayo Clinic. The application was built on top of the HealthVault platform allowing users to track and manage their family, medical recommendations (like vaccine schedules), and also surfaced up educational content from the previous search work we did.HealthVault Community ConnectAfter acquiring Azyxxi and renamed to Amalga, we tried to unify the EMR with the PHR and provided a patient portal leveraging HealthVault to connect to the Amalga back end (EMR). I was focused on improving the connection between the two services and ensuring that audit and HIPAA compliance were still properly enforced.
