Carried out research as a member of Petroleum Geomechanics Research Group in the geomechanics laboratory in which advanced and routine rock mechanical experiments were conducted.• Evaluated geomechanical characteristics of Gas Shale reservoirs in Western Australian Basins under simulated in-situ stress states (true triaxial).• Investigated the impact of changes in stress conditions and water saturation on deformational behaviour of Sandstones, Shales and Gas Shales.• Geomechanical modelling and wellbore stability analysis in conventional or unconventional reservoirs, (Coal Seam Gas).• Shared research as a member of a multidisciplinary team which worked on different aspects of unconventional reservoirs, including geomechanical, petrophysical, geophysical and geological evaluations.• Prepared technical reports and documentation including regular project reports, technical publications and conference presentations.• Established a laboratory procedure to obtain elastic and deformational properties of rocks under true triaxial stress conditions.• Design and commissioning of a new experimental setup to perform 3D failure tests on cubic specimens of real and synthetic rocks.• Developed an acquisition software code for monitoring and recording data in true triaxial strength testing of rocks.

• Petrophysical study & Log evaluation of various Oil & Gas fileds, e.g. Aghar, Dalan and Tange Bijar gas fields.• Process petrophysical logs and applying corrections, log merging, normalizations and importing geological zonation and core data.• Develop petrophysical models for evaluation of lithology, density, porosity, water saturation, hydrocarbon volume, etc.• Work effectively with and provide support to geologists and reservoir engineering teams.• Prepare technical reports for clients.
