It all started when my mum uttered a WOW.A travel company cancelled my family’s dream summer trip to Europe at the last moment. I still made it happen single-handedly. When my mother let out that wow on the trip, I felt I’ve succeeded. But the bigger realisation was how much I live for that Wow that only comes with new experiences. And so, making experiential travel happen became my passion.Puffins, coracles, volcanoes – in the past decade, I have curated unconventional experiences and crafted bespoke itineraries across 15+ countries & 45+ destinations. The power of experiences also drew me towards customer experience consulting for retail/hospitality brands and sharpened my customer focus.I have travelled widely within India and abroad, solo and in group. I’ve volunteered around Europe and built strong relationships with individuals of 10+ nationalities & 60+ professional backgrounds. These experiences have fed the creativity I need to help travel businesses manage & expand their product portfolio with interesting itineraries. But creativity is just one of the keys to what makes me tick. The other is problem solving.Whether it's black holes or human minds, I’ve always been interested in understanding how stuff works. I can’t stand unsolved problems or unanswered questions. This led me towards science & engineering at school and, more recently, heading the Operations for a fast-paced tech startup.The core of my job - to keep the organisation's gears churning smoothly and keep its people happy. I’ve juggled this systematically with many other balls, like strategy and marketing. I’ve utilised technology for cross-functional collaboration, helping build 150+ partnerships with VIPs and developing & mentoring a large country-wide team remotely.Dance or music, languages or linguistics, I’m always learning something new. I’m able to translate between diverse ideas and integrate them so as to innovate. Adaptability and big-picture thinking are my superpowers. I capitalise on all these strengths to design & execute unconventional trips efficiently.From skydiving over a tropical estuary to riding rollercoasters in the rain, playing Holi with Germans to teaching Spaniards desi dance, travel has taught me the power of immersive experiences and the life-changing connections they can create.
