Project: Virtualization Appliance Management Software • Worked in collaboration with a large geographically dispersed team, responsible for designing, developing and testing the embedded software that goes into the IO Virtualization System based on Linux.• Developed utilities and scripts like Testware- used to sanity check new builds, Software Update Mechanism-to minimize the reboots required during the package update, Revert installation- to revert from a failed package installation or to go to an older package, Firmware Read- to read a raw FPGA image data and program it into the device, Reboot script- wrapper to check core file dump.• Additional responsibilities included debugging and validating various components ranging from the GUI to threading in C++.• Comfortable with Source code management tool (GIT) and Bug tracker database ( Bugzilla).
