While Vidya was enrolled in the Bachelor of Communications, Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology Sydney, she was among the elite group who completed the eight month long Allens Neota UTS Law Tech Challenge for Social Justice. Vidya had responsibility for Quality Assurance and Communications within the team, Empower Her, for NGO client Women’s Justice Network to develop a legal app using artificial intelligence technology to solve an access to justice problem around organisation of the client’s mentoring program. This Challenge really gives students an opportunity to understand and to engage with technology for a social justice purpose, with the support of Allens and Neota Logic. It was my pleasure to work alongside Vidya in this year’s challenge and I have no doubt we will see great things to come. "
