In this role, I quickly achieved progressive growth resulting in increased responsibilities and the ownership of high impact projects for the Fixed Income Finance Desk, including Citi's joint venture in Tokyo with Nikko Securities. ◆ Led the enhancement of the Fixed Income Financing Trading Platform to handle Gensaki products, and negative interest rates, ensuring prices are calculated correctly◆ During Citi's Joint Venture (JV) with Nikko Securities, I helped the Cash desk teams with reconciling transactions and positions, running reports and queries across multiple applications and consolidating data.◆ On September 11, I helped the Fixed Income Finance Desk to be one of the first first funding desks on the street to be able to be up and running, overnight, from a secondary location when the primary trading location was evacuated, by coordinating with various tech support teams as well as my own team.◆ In the midst of the 2008 Financial crisis, my team and I worked with the desk to produce one-off reports utilizing tools like QlikView by importing the data they needed to analyze, into this tool and generating different views for them to click through to get various details. As a result, the desk was in a much better position to manage the crisis as they were able to get accurate reports on their exposure to different client industry segments and different product industry segments.
