Java Re-engineering project for AIG - This involved converting a mainframe Legacy system to make it web-enabled and Intranet based. The backend remained untouched with DB2 on a mainframe platform. The work involved server-side programming to create an interface to the DB2 at backend. Led a team of 15 persons. Also coded a significant part of servlets, with JDBC for connection with DB2 database.Setting up Software Quality Process for American ExpressStudied the existing system and quality procedures. Defined process standards and setup implementation plan for the Quality Control function.Production Support for Mervyns - On-call production support, defect fixing and providing enhancements to the supported functions. Was responsible for the analysis, design and implementation for the Reporting Week Change.
