As the Director of Operations and Communications at the Keweenaw Community Foundation, I’m all about making a positive impact and fueling community growth right here in the Upper Peninsula. Growing up in the Copper Country, I’ve always been inspired by the natural beauty around us—and that’s a big part of what drives my work to support, preserve, and uplift our unique environment and community.With close to a decade of experience in communications and program management, I’ve had the chance to work in roles across the board—from Study Abroad Advisor to Marketing and Communications Director at Michigan Tech, and even Human Resources Manager and Office Manager at Creative Mines and 101 Quincy Coworking. In each role, I’ve focused on building connections, streamlining processes, and creating an environment where people and ideas can thrive.I enjoy crafting strategies that help organizations achieve their goals, but my favorite work happens when I’m engaging directly with the community, bridging needs with resources. Here at the Keweenaw Community Foundation, I’m dedicated to projects that make life in our community better for everyone—now and for generations to come.Outside of work, you’ll likely find me outdoors, embracing all that our region has to offer with my family.
