I am an Associate Professor of Psychology at San Joaquin Delta College and an Adjunct Professor for music therapy courses at the University of the Pacific. I teach research, assessment, therapeutic techniques, multicultural counseling, and general psychology courses. I actively research how music can be used to improve the well-being of individuals with disabilities. I studied Neurologic Music Therapy at the Frost School of Music and have a second degree in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami. I completed a Master's in Music Therapy at the University of the Pacific and a second Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I have completed my doctoral courses in Counseling Psychology. I previously served as part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee for AMTA and Parliamentarian for WRAMTA.
