Peaked Pies is a place where you can find fantastic Australian pies. I'm working here as a FOH on the weekends to tune my customer service skills. The thing I learned from this job is that I can keep calm under pressure and during rush hours. My team and I achieved a milestone with a sales figure of almost $5,000 on January 1st, 2024, marking our highest performance for this day since 2019!

I helped improve the restaurant’s online presence and efficiency by partnering with Uber Eats, Skip The Dishes, and Doordash. I developed and managed our website on Google Sites and answered reviews, which increased our traffic by 20%. Additionally, I assisted with financial tasks like paying bills and managing budgets for those online platforms to ensure everything ran smoothly.

In my role as an English Tutor, I actively collaborated with educators to craft dynamic lesson plans and course content aimed at elevating the overall learning experience for students. Employing a student-centric approach, I conducted thorough assessments, including performance evaluations and progress tracking, to ensure effective learning outcomes tailored to individual needs.As the primary instructor, I facilitated engaging group sessions for 25+ students, concentrating on the development of both speaking and listening skills. This approach not only enhanced language proficiency but also fostered a dynamic and interactive classroom environment conducive to effective learning. My commitment to creating an enriching educational experience for students was at the core of my responsibilities as an English Tutor.

I was living with a homestay during my first year in Canada. She was running a daycare at the time and Covid hit so she retired. She was about to throw away of the toys but I told her that I would turn this into a small business. We started selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace. This is where I first learned how to write advertisements and sell on this platform. I ended up helping her get back $4500 worth of toys.
