About Kimmo Koskinen

I'm programmer with hacker attitude. I've spent most of my career thus far working on software development related to WiFi networks. Mostly, but not limited to, desktop application development with Java/Swing/JavaFX 2, wrapping native libraries and operating system APIs with Java/Python. Lately been doing web development using Clojure and ClojureScript. Had a brief visit in home automation domain while working on a DBUS -based Actor -like system on Linux. Now touching into the world of consulting, getting to spend more time with Clojure and the web in general.I'm interested in functional programming (Clojure, Python, Haskell, Scala), clean code and domain driven design. Generally interested in how systems actually work.Past experience with Linux server administration, WLAN network administration/deployment and Location Based Service research&implementation.
