I am a 3rd year undergraduate at The University of Adelaide pursuing a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science. However, I am planning to change directions to go more into Chemistry, and going to do another degree, Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), soon.I have gained tremendous knowledge and skills in my 3 years at The University of Adelaide. Academically, I now have a thorough understanding of the multifaceted controls that goes into quality assurance of food processing, to ensure food safety while maintaining quality and complying with standards. Personally, working in many groups assignments and projects have trained me to be a better team player with effective communication, time management and the ability to perform under pressure. My current internship at Safcol is proving to be a valuable experience to apply these attributes in a working environment.I was the President of Adelaide University Badminton Club for 1 year in which I gained incredible leadership experience.I am fascinated in the mechanics of basically everything, whether it can be a game, a machine or a process. I am not hesitant to dig deep to find videos or documents and just learn.Besides study, I enjoy cooking and eating good food. I am also a well-trained classical pianist and was previously in an orchestra, so I frequently practice in the city library.
