• Root cause analysis was performed for component loss in tire building department. Using a Pareto, four major Component losses were identified. • The breaker loss was identified as the top component loss and performed a six sigma project to reduce the breaker loss. The breaker loss was reduced by 12 %.• Conducted time study on Automated Motorcycle Tire Building Machine and performed a Up time and delay analysis. By reducing the automation delay time improved the cycle time by 4% on motorcycle tire building machine.• Using 5S and Visual factory, Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tire curing molds were arranged. The arrangement was standardized using a facility layout design. Eliminated mold identification time there by decreasing the lead time. This increased PCR tire production by 73 tire/ month, approximately 110,000$ annual savings. • Suggested a pilot solution using the Kanban pull system to reduce "No tire delay" in the schedule and reduce the WIP
