Functional1. Study Specifications / Technical inputs and prepare compliance to customer observation / comments.2. Preparation of Technical Design, Cable Schedule, Engineering calculations and drawings. Check and validate design documents. Evolve cost effective / optimized solutions.3. Selections & requisition of IEDs, Relays & ought-on-Job materials. Ensure issuance of technical specifications to enable procurement of materials.4. Perform RAMS studies for the power supply part of traction projects. 5. Attend customer technical meetings for secure approvals6. Release manufacturing instructions and project configurations.7. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders including testing team for internal validation and participate in FAT as required.8. Provide support to the site team to resolve technical issues and snag lists. Prepare As-built documentation.9. Share return of experience. Implement the applicable ROEs during design phase.10. Manage technical interface with sub suppliers & partners, prepare input data, check consistencyTime schedule.11. Participate with team leader / Project Manager and finalize deliverables and project plan.12. Manage design time spent on relevant activities13. Ensure on-time delivery of Quality design deliverables.14. On weekly basis provide Team lead and/or PM with project reviews.Strategy15. Follow project strategy & highlight scope or design changes (data for claims, VO)16. Track, manage & mitigate identified or potential deviations / risks17. Comply with quality Procedures, work instructions and processes.18. Deploy Engineering tools as per strategy.19. Anticipate and mitigate delivery issues and recommend change.
