I am an ED Telescribe for Presbyterian Espanola Hospital. My responsibilities are documenting physician patient interactions within the emergency department using EPIC software. I have researched transposon mutagenesis of Rhodobacter Sphaeroides; in which we colonized Rhodobacter Sphaeroides and screened for mutants. We isolated the mutants and determined which gene function is being interfered due to the transposon location. I utilized various separation and diagnostic methods to research the properties of industrial chemicals while working as a lab technician for Aries Science and Technology. Projects I have worked on are The Effects of Turmeric of Oxidation of Lipids, Development of a TRPV1 Agonist using Curcumin modified with a fatty acid. Both projects have been with the Ohio Academy of Science. Additionally, I have worked on 3D printing of scaffolds to encapsulate 3D printed cerebral organoids with Dr. Mark Hester at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. My goals are to further my career in healthcare by effectively working with patients to ensure that they recieve quality care.
