Maintain a record of shipments sent to the consignee. KYC documentation maintenance as per customs regulations. Business data sheet maintenance for weekly and monthly sales and purchase invoices. Coordinate with airlines for regular shipment updates to the clients. Remittance to overseas agents after compiling agent debit notes.

I am handling imports in the current work role of mine in which I have to coordinate with the agents in other countries for timely documents required in imports, IGM manifestation, accounts department so that payment is done on time and more. In this I also have to keeping track of the vessel from one port and should also be updated on estimated time of arrival of the vessel at the import port so that we can get all the documents ready for custom clearance and destuffing of the containers at the specified CFS and release the DO for the customer/client and make for a smooth experience.

Point of contact between the organization and the clients, doing bookings for clients for ocean freight, air freight,haulage, custom clearance and more.

Tasked with providing the company with a MIS system which will change according to the dates being input and give the corresponding vessel maintenance schedule . I had also made compilation of the MARPOL rules at the sea and learnt about the waste dumping strategies that IMO and other organizations have put over the years to make ocean more sustainable.
