1) Manage the day to day work of the MEP team.2) In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same.3) Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general project 4) Advise the draughtsman to prepare shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent for the execution and submit to consultant for approval.5) Prepare along with the draughtsman all the MEP coordination and builders work drawings of the project for approval from consultant prior to execution.6) Where required prepare along with the consultant, the technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues.7) Provide on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during the first fix works approval from consultant/client.8))Online submission to DEWA all LV and HV drawings for approval. Schedule DEWA final LV inspection for power release.9) Attending all the inspections scheduled for the authorities like DM, DEWA,DCD, DCCA, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL and successfully attaining the approvals for the project.10)Schedule and successfully completing the testing and commissioning of all MEP services of the project.11)Attend and prepare the final project snag close out report for handing over of the project.12)Attend project, site progress and any mechanical services related technical meetings as directed by the project manager.13)Arrange and submit the Operation and Maintenance manuals for all MEP works of the project to client/consultant.
