I’ve enjoyed getting to know the healthcare system and opportunities to improve it as a medical student and researcher for 6 years at Duke U. After writing several papers in Radiology and Cell and contributing to medical education, I am now excited to combine and dust off my technical experience as a biomedical engineer from undergrad degree, my knowledge as a healthcare provider, and my love for data to increases accessibility of our healthcare system.I believe my wealth of experience within the healthcare system combined with my abilities as a communicator would make me an asset to many healthcare-tech oriented business seeking data scientist professional with healthcare experience. I am currently enrolled in Springboard’s Data Scientist track, focusing on advanced machine learning to stay up-to-date on the latest trends within machine learning. I am currently working on my capstone project which will be publicly available.I stay up-to-date on current trends in Big Data, Machine Learning, and data driven solutions applied to healthcare and I am eager to join a business breaking barriers to increase patient accessibility to providers.
