In my two years and a half at Santa Clara University as a Computer Science major, I have completed coursework on key concepts in CS and Mathematics, including object-oriented programming in C++, data structures and algorithms, web development, and probability and statistics. I have also worked on personal projects that use machine learning models through Python and and JavaScript and React.js this past year. The skills I have learned from these courses and projects will enable me to handle the demanding responsibilities that come with working in the highly-competitive CS industry. My two-month internship with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise has enriched me with important technical experience required to work in the tech industry. My summer internship at BlackBerry allowed me to build a patient monitor that simulated those present in hospitals. Both of these internships have also provided me with useful personal experience in collaborating with several industry professionals. I believe these experiences have helped me develop excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills which I will be able to bring to future CS jobs and internships.
