Data Science Intern
I had the privilege of being a part of a Data Science ML Internship program where I was able to work on various exciting projects in the field of machine learning. During this program, I was working in a remote mode, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience while working from the comfort of my own home. One of the projects I was involved in was the Iris flower classification project. The aim of this project was to build a machine learning model to accurately classify the species of iris flowers based on their physical characteristics. I used various classification algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbors and Decision Trees, and finally settled on the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, which gave us the highest accuracy score.Another project that I worked on was the Unemployment prediction project. The goal of this project was to build a predictive model that would allow us to forecast unemployment rates based on historical data. I used time-series analysis and regression algorithms to build the model and was able to achieve a high level of accuracy in the predictions. Finally, I also had the opportunity to work on a Salesprice prediction project. The objective of this project was to build a machine learning model to predict the sales price of houses based on various features such as number of rooms, square footage, and location. I used regression algorithms such as Linear Regression and Random Forest Regression to build the model and was able to achieve an impressive R-squared value, indicating a high level of accuracy in the predictions.Overall, I can say that this Data Science ML Internship was a fantastic experience for me. I learned so much about machine learning and was able to apply my knowledge to real-world projects. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a talented team and grateful to the organization for providing me with such a great learning experience
