Joined through E.L.I.T.E general management program, for the first year of which the trainee gets the chance to work on 3-4 different stints and explore various managerial roles across its multiple strategic business units. So far in the program, I’ve worked on roles ranging from Account Manager, Sales analyst to Operations Manager. Currently working in APAC business unit’s COO & CSO office, driving BU wide strategic initiatives and programs related to operational excellence.

As a summer intern, I worked on a project related to analysis of how central bank’s market intervention impact on country’s currency exchange rate. As a part of assignment, studied 10+ research papers, conducted statistical analysis on historical data to understand the impact of intervention. I presented my research findings to the team and got appreciated by team-lead for the valuable insights.

I joined Adani Power as graduate engineering trainee fresh out of college. Started with working on shopfloor with technicians for on-ground execution and handled shift maintenance duties as engineer-in charge. During my tenure, I got the opportunities to be part of and lead some key overhauling and process improvement projects. I was actively involved for department’s financial and procurement planning activities. Summary of Key Responsibilities: • On-ground execution of day-to-day and planned periodic maintenance activities for boiler (rotating parts) of 9 mega thermal power units at Mundra plant. • Managing the service and material procurement budget for the section, Inventory monitoring and procurement management. • Leading the process improvement initiatives through operations research techniques such as Lean-six sigma, FMEA and RCA analysis. • Trained the upcoming batches of GETs for maintenance of rotating parts of boiler at plant’s training and research centre.

Worked on a manufacturing line layout re-designing project. The project involved optimizing a continuous manufacturing line layout and carry out the assessment of new layout through sampling analysis to ensure desired quality and operational objectives are being met.
