 Engaged in a wide range of projects with the scope of minor or moderate enhancements for stand-alone and multi-layer, multi-environment applications on z/OS and communications to/from distributed platforms. Involvement comprised of full SDLC phases, engaging in project scoping, Requirement Analysis, Design, Code changes, Unit/System planning and execution, Implementation, Verification and Backout planning and execution along with the creation of documentation for each phase.  Provided real-time support of Mainframe applications (Trie1 thru Trier3) and oncall support. Handled the issues escalated by ServiceNow tickets or direct calls from Mainframe Datacenter, IT users and other Mainframe Infrastructure teams.  Worked directly with Mainframe Infrastructure support teams (DBA, CICS, System Engineering, Security, Network/VTAM) when identifying the Production issues of various implications and causes. Proper identification, Root Cause Analysis, escalation (when applicaple) as well as the prioritizing and determining the proper way of handling the issues was essential.  Monitored and handled the automated System audit tickets and reports designed to monitor the Infrastructure code changes or conflicts as required by SOX or Morgan Stanley’s internal policies.  Provided advices and solutions to the issues and questions raised by application developers to address the coding and performance-related problems, concerns and questions in development and testing environments. Participated in Development and Production (software and language) upgrades in application level. Created complete user-facing documentation, Release Notes and internal (technical) documentation to be used by Mainframe Application Support teams with respect to Change management process withing the firm.

- Acted as the primary Platform Architect on Rogers account; developed and deployed strategy and roadmaps for Rogers hosted web services network environment, including Disaster Recovery solutions. - Engaged in planning, designing, upgrading, implementing, optimizing and supporting the classified network infrastructure. - Tested new technologies and proved new solutions in lab and non-production environment. - Produced complex change plans for executions outlining objective, scope, pre/post verifications, implementation steps, and back out procedures. - Reviewed and approved routine firewall change requests and plans from operations team. - Took last-level technical escalations to resolve customer incidents and problems. - Delivered and maintained customer network diagrams, IP plan (by HP IPAM), and project technical documents. - Accomplishment： - Cisco CSS to F5 migration Migrated 20+ VIPs from Cisco CSS to an existing F5 LTM - VRF and OSPF Project Created 12 VRFs on Nexus 5k switches. One VRF for each zone to relief the intra-zone traffic from the core firewalls. Enabled OSPF instances on Cisco Nexus 5K switches and CheckPoint firewalls. - CheckPoint VPN Migrations and inter-CMA Firewall Consolidations Built 2 sets of new CheckPoint GAIA firewalls, and migrated 18 IPSec Site-2-Site VPNs from EOL CheckPoint IPSO firewalls. Consolidated 4 sets of old CheckPoint firewalls with other existing CheckPoint firewalls.
