Joined the Indian Defence Services in May, 1981.From May 1981 to November, 1984 I have been working with an Infantry Battalion of the Indian Army and was posted at the Indo-Burma Border. During this period I was responsible for the procurement and supply of rations to the soldiers, comprising 900 men.Posted to the Public Relations Wing of the Ministry of Defence In November 1984. During this tenure, I have gained ample knowledge in handling the Print and Electronic Media.Took premature retirement from service in September, 1996.
