Main Duties/Responsibilities:• Responsible for mechanical inspection of all Company Products, using a wide range of hand measuring tools and other inspection equipment including the CMM. • Nominated DQR for product release of specific customer products• Certifying Staff for release of Civil Aerospace products• Responsible for verification of supplier FAIRs.• Responsible for compiling FAIRs to AS9102 for internal products.• Responsible for co-ordinating mechanical & electrical calibration with internal customers.• Responsible for calibration improvement plan.• Responsible for developing GRIPs – Goods Inwards Inspection Plans and coordinating with the supplier.• Produce accurate and detailed written NCRs on non-conforming product for either internal or external distribution.• Using Microsoft Office to establish and maintain the supporting records for the company’s calibration system.• Responsible for communicating with all internal departments either by written reports or verbally.• Assist where relevant in customer site visits.• Take responsibility for flagging quality control non-conformances to reduce waste.• Undertake the mechanical inspection of products in line with the specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
