Assignments – Reporting to PROJECT QUALITY MANAGER(previously reported to PROJECT MANAGER / Head of Project Services)i) I was working as Lead QA/QC Engineer of Qarn Alam Steam Project, an Enhanced Oil Recovery project which has a total Capex of approximately $1.2 Billion. ii) As a Lead QA/QC Engineer, I am responsible for overall Quality Assurance and control issues including technical integrity verification across all project activities starting from Tender preparation to project commissioning. iii) Preparation of Quality Assurance Specification including FSI for tendering / EPC Contract and its implementation during EPC Contract.iv) Establishment, implementation and maintenance of Project Specific Quality Assurance System for Qarn Alam Steam Project.v) Provide Quality Assurance Training to Company’s / Contractor’s Project Team and QC Training to Quality Staffs for delivering professional services vi) Participate in Kick-off meeting with CONTRACTOR’S for discussion and ensuring compliance of contractual quality requirements.iv) Review and approval of CONTRACTOR’S/ Sub-contractor’s / Vendor’s QA/QC documentation such as Quality Manual, Q.A plans, QC Inspection & test plans, Manufacturing, Inspection & Testing Procedures (welding / NDT / PWHT / Hydrotest/ … etc.), etc. and related documents.v) Preparation and implementation of Quality Audits/reviews for Qarn Alam Steam Project.vii) Conduct Quality Audit on CONTRACTOR’S / Sub-contractors /Vendor’s to ensure their compliance to CONTRACT / Sub-contract/PO requirements and ISO9001/14001/18001. viii) Attending Pre-inspection meeting at Sub-contractor’s / Vendor’s premises.IX) Supervision of Lead QC Engineers, QA/QC Engineers and Sr. Inspectors / Inspectors (Welding / NDT / Painting) and monitoring performance.

To review project contract documents and project specifications and identify the scope of Quality Assurance & Certification requirements. To establish Project Deliverables and Project specific Q. A. procedures / documents, QA Plans, in liaise with company concerned department, client and certifying authority.Implementation of project quality system, including training, during project commencement and monitoring effectiveness of Quality System. Provide technical advices to Project Manager & team.Review and approve Vendor’s / Sub-contractor’s QA/QC documentation such as Quality Manual, Q.A plans, QC Inspection & test plans, Manufacturing, Inspection & Testing Procedures (welding / NDT / PWHT / Hydrotest/ … etc.), etc. and related documents.Conduct Quality and HSE Audits on Sub-contractor’s / Vendors, for critical orders / Sub-contracted works, to ensure their compliance to PO / Sub-contract requirements. I have conducted many Q.A. audits on various international vendors / sub-contractors in France, Italy, UK, Holland, Norway & India in addition to UAE, e.g. Norsafe, Norway.Desk and Field inspection & expediting of procured material by visiting manufacture’s place worldwide and assessing the actual status of engineering, resolving engineering issues technically, P.O., expediting to ensure timely material delivery with quality and reporting to the management. Preparing expediting reports and status and providing to project management for information and providing support in resolution of issues.To co-ordinate with Third party inspection authority for mobilization of Inspectors, as required by PO. Review of TPA inspection reports and to co-ordinate with Vendor for resolution of highlighted TPA problems.Control of Non-conformance related to the system & construction and ensuring appropriate corrective & preventive actions in a timely manner.
