As a Team Lead I am responsible for the following* Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure on-time and high quality product launches. * Design, build and launch consumer-facing features and a platform to support millions of customers on Quickbooks Online Accounting platform.* Partner with cross functional teams to prioritize work for the team, handle difficult tradeoffs with the given business constraints.* Coach, mentor and guide a team of engineers on technical best practices and career paths. Projects: Advisory Services platform: An end-to-end solution to enable accountants to provide advisory services for small business clients* Business Decisions Service and Advisory Dashboard: Lead to deliver an end to end Advisory dashboard solution that comprises of service, data pipeline and UI plugin. The service is built using Springboot framework exposing both REST and GraphQL APIs on a modern infrastructure leveraging cloud native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD hosted on AWS and the UI plugin is built using React, Apollo. Data pipeline leverages Hadoop Hive, Elastic Search, EMRs.* Client Insights Services : Event driven message based platform leveraging Kafka and JMS to generate insights related to the clients accounting and payroll. A micro service that handles a high TPS and exposes both REST and GraphQL endpoints for consumption.
