- Worked on GEICO’s big data platform as a Senior Java Developer supporting various Data ingestion and processing flows with Java and other technologies.- Design and Implemented new platform features including support for Excel file based ingestion and enhancements for the existing process flow.- Multiple migrations from legacy frameworks/tools to cloud based services (i.e. Azure migration with Databricks/ADF, Confluent Kafka Connect for data ingestion in different stages of ETL process).- Delivered some of the highly critical projects which are used by consumer apps in order to provide better customer experience.- Involved in production support providing guidance to L1 and other support teams in order to troubleshoot and resolve customer/platform related issues.

- Dockerized the Enactor Platform's core components which drastically reduced the amount of work required to test and deploy the platform.- Led the development of the Identity Server implementation (OAuth based IS server). - Involved in different platform enhancements and new feature development including POS / Back-end applications and IDE plugin support for Eclipse.- Conducted Product/Platform & other technical training for the Sri Lankan team. - Led the Development team of Sri Lanka while supporting the expansion of the company with identifying top talents from various recognised universities.

- Led all the key aspects for the redesign of Pearson’s Higher Ed portal with the relevant stake holders (Product/Program management, Engineering leadership) and launched the product successfully. - Led the architecture and development of both application layers (Frontend/Backend) while supporting mobile compatibility for end users with latest front end technologies at the time.- Led the process of setting up the key engineering processes/best practices, CI aspects and testing approaches for the product. - While this effort replaced the legacy monolithic application, additional enhancements were introduced with the support of Caching for high performance, APIs for extendability and a completely new user experience with responsive UI design.- Formed and guided an agile team of around 7 developers of various levels experience to a high performing state.

Development : - Worked on design and development of new features for the product (Governance Registry) including the integration of open standard specification implementation i.e. CMIS (OASIS). - Provided technical feedback/improvements on cross product integration aspects of WSO2 Developer Studio at the time. - Involved in bug fixes/ production support for product stack (ESB, Message Broker, Governance Registry) for the existing customers. Key customer involvements - British Airways, Walmart, IMS HealthSolution Architecture:- Directly worked with Account Managers/customers identifying different customer requirements (on- site/off-site) for implementing EIP based solutions.- Delivered POC scenarios and solution architecture with the product stack and the platform in general based on customer use cases.- Conducted numerous demonstrations including product introductions and solutions for potential customers through which they could make decisions on the evaluation process of the product stack.
