Louisville, Kentucky Area

• Identified physical/ chemical occupational disease (OD) risks among policy holders and facilitated the implementation of controls, resulting in measurable exposure reductions. • Performed over 200 industrial hygiene surveys utilizing a variety of equipment; noise dosimeters, personal and area sampling pumps, anemometers, radiometric testing with isotropic field probes, etc…• Consistently work to deliver value beyond expected service for various UPS customers. Identified occupational disease (OD) risks and facilitated the implementation of controls, resulting in measurable exposure reductions. Examples include;o Moving the Louisville Wheel and Brake repair shop (WBS) off of periodic monitoring through the elimination of spray painting tasks. By assisting with work methods development, hexavalent chromium (CrVI) exposures which regularly exceeded the PEL were reduced to non-detectable levels. o Set to remove the Louisville sheet metal repair shop (SMS) grinding booth out of periodic monitoring for CrVI by September, 2014. Up until my involvement, the SMS regularly presented exposures at or exceeding the PEL within the grinding booth. Within a year, we reduced exposures to non-detectable levels through implementation of engineering controls and behavior based safety practices.o Independently developing an audit tool for UPS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) ethylene oxide (ETO) program. Tool will be under review in late September 2014,and if accepted, will be used to identify compliance deficiencies at individual SCS sites thereby mitigating exposure and legal risks associated with handling ETO based sterilizers. • Managing Mid-Atlantic region underwriting initiative to identify OD risks on core business accounts

• Assisted the quality and food safety team in converting to the ISO 22000 food safety standard by writing/designing various documents; procedures, SOPs, records, etc.• Assisted consultants with multiple audits to ensure ISO 22000 compliance prior to certification audit• Calculated ideal output for an entirely automated line and formed a team to achieve the goal; this decreased the discrepancy between production goals and throughputs by 3%.
