I have over two decades of experience in corporate finance services and in particular, valuations spread across Grant Thornton, India and another big 4 firm. I joined Grant Thornton in 2004 and was part of the founding team for corporate finance services initially based out of Bangalore. I specialize in Business and Intangible valuations and support clients from startups to multi billion dollar global conglomerates in their strategic objectives for unlocking value or on contentious matters pertaining to, JV or Shareholder disputes/litigations or for compliance under statutory and reporting regulations. I have undertaken valuations for M&As; corporate restructuring; start-ups; intangibles assets; stock options; disputes; RBI compliance; financial reporting and portfolio of investments for private equity. I have handled several international engagements with several Grant Thornton member firms across geographies. I am instrumental in setting up and driving the Global Delivery – Valuations practice for Grant Thornton, India.As a board member at IVSC, I am involved in collaborating with other board members, industry experts, regulators, relevant stake holders and valuation professionals globally to promote the mission of IVSC to raise standards of valuation practice by: Developing high-quality International Valuation Standards which ensure consistency, transparency and comparability.
