CurrentManager Group Finance - Global Payments - Responsible for all expense accounting and reporting activities for various legal entities across the Globe (Europe, UK and Ireland) with monthly expense base of 40 million GBP.- Successfully migrated the accounts payable (end to end) function from UK. This including payment of approx 36K supplier invoices annually, fund expenses, rebate and commissions, interest and dealing errors, interview and compensation, balance sheet and supplier reconciliations, etc. - Solely entrusted with the responsibility of audit function for entire payable process for FIL India Finance and ensuring there are no open issues.Responsible for preparation of quarterly dashboards, expense packs, business score card, management and regulatory reporting.- Preparation and implementation of various policies as required time to time such as Balance sheet reconciliation policy, expense authorization matrix, T&E and use of corporate credit card policy, etc.- Handling a team of 12 experienced / highly inspired FTE's and ensuring consistent delivery and mentoring.- Relationship manager (One point of contact) for employees and vendors on queries resolution & other process related issues.- Helping in building up strong financial team in India by recruiting right resources, ensuring cross-functional team bonding and taking various other initiatives.Project Management- Assist management team in delivering key projects on cost optimization and cost reduction as may be required from time to time. - Worked on a number of significant and challenging projects like standardization of processes across globe, reducing non purchase order based purchases, integration between stand alone systems, accurate expense management, etc.- Handled other assignments involving self assessments, risks updates, balance sheet control, job rotation, BCP, etc.
